The candlelight vigil at JC Nichols fountain (47th & Main) drew 2500 protesters. Additionally, there were many other area candlelight vigils at the same time, including vigils at Lee's Summit (80-90 met to stand for peace), Liberty, Kansas City (KS), Platte City, Prairie Village, Lawrence, Leavenworth, Gladstone, and St. Joseph...
